Why We Walk
A 5K Built Around a Simple Idea
Mid Star Lab has spent 25+ years crafting custom foot orthotics, orthopedic shoes, and orthotic insoles for the people who need them most, including veterans through VA and DOD care, and diabetics who depend on protective footwear to avoid serious complications.
The Tongie Trot turns that mission into a community celebration. Every registration, donation, and sponsorship goes directly toward providing custom orthotic care to patients.
The Course
Route & Accessibility
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
Route type: Road loop starting and finishing at Mid Star Lab (1701 Commerce Dr), out along Tonganoxie Drive, through CR-30 past Chieftain Park and VFW Park, and back.
